Juan Lebrón Chincoa

Juan Lebrón Chincoa is a professional padel player from Spain, aged 31, standing 1.85 metres tall. Born on 30 January 1995 in Spain, he plays on the drive side and is currently ranked 5. He partners Leandro Augsburger.

Juan Lebrón Chincoa picked up a nickname early in his career that has stuck ever since: "El Lobo," the Wolf. As he's told it, a commentator coined the name after watching the arching motion of his shots, the wolf's jaw reflected in the moon. Lebrón grew up in Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, picking up a racket at age 7 following his father's example.

His first run to world No. 1 came in 2019 alongside Paquito Navarro, making them the first Spanish pair to top the rankings. From 2020, Lebrón partnered Alejandro Galán, and the pairing became one of the sport's most dominant, winning the first padel championship ever staged at Roland Garros among a long list of titles.

Lebrón has been open about his fiery on-court temperament drawing scrutiny over the years, something he's described as gradually maturing with experience.
