Leandro Augsburger

Leandro Augsburger is a professional padel player from Argentina, aged 22, standing 1.90 metres tall. Born on 11 August 2004 in Argentina, he plays on the backhand side and is currently ranked 6. He partners Juan Lebrón Chincoa.

Leandro Romero Augsburger grew up in Posadas, Misiones, on Argentina's border with Paraguay, and left school at 14 to commit fully to padel. He relocated to Spain in early 2023, having already built his name as one of the tour's most feared smashers.

Augsburger's partnership with Valentino "Tino" Libaak began in 2022, and the pair made an early mark at the 2023 WPT Rioja Open, reaching the final while still teenagers, with wins along the way over established pairs including Chingotto-Navarro. The partnership peaked in the 2024 World Championship final, where Libaak and Augsburger won the decisive men's match for Argentina, beating Spain's Navarro and Yanguas 3-6, 7-5, 7-6.

Augsburger's game is built around power, and he's widely regarded as one of the best smashers on the circuit, a weapon that has carried him through several partnerships beyond Libaak as his career has continued to evolve on the Premier Padel tour.
