Miguel Yanguas Diez

Miguel Yanguas Diez is a professional padel player from Spain, aged 24, standing 1.89 metres tall. Born on 18 March 2002 in Spain, he plays on the drive side and is currently ranked 9. He partners Jorge Nieto Ruiz.

Miguel "Mike" Yanguas Díez, also known on the circuit as "YanguaX," grew up in Motril, on Spain's Granada coast, and turned professional in 2018. His game combines power and precision, built around strong hitting and the court mobility needed to adapt across different partnerships over the years.

He built his early career alongside a rotating cast of partners, including Álex Arroyo, Iván Ramírez, Miguel Lamperti and Javier Garrido, before forming one of his most consistent partnerships with Coki Nieto. Together they reached nine semi-finals across 15 Premier Padel tournaments. That willingness to recalibrate his game for each new partner has been the throughline of his climb into the sport's upper tier.
