Alejandro Galán, born on May 15, 1996, in Madrid, is a Spanish professional padel player currently ranked 3rd in the FIP rankings. Since 2024, he has been playing in the backhand position alongside Federico Chingotto.
Galán was world number 1 alongside Juan Lebrón for three consecutive years (2020, 2021, and 2022), until they lost the top spot to Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia in May 2023. Known for his powerful flat smash, quick reflexes, and outstanding physical condition, Galán excels in all aspects of the game.
His breakthrough came in 2018 when he won his first World Padel Tour title at the Valladolid Open with Matías Díaz, followed by another title at the Lugo Open.
