Antonio Fernandez Cano

Antonio Fernandez Cano is a professional padel player from Spain, aged 34, standing 1.80 metres tall. Born on 17 August 1992 in Spain, he plays on the backhand side and is currently ranked 58. He partners Mario Del Castillo Marin.

Antonio "Pincho" Fernández Cano, from Badajoz, started out in tennis before switching to padel at 12, winning Spanish junior championships in 2006 and 2009 and climbing to 15th in the national rankings by 2015. He did not turn fully professional until 2021, a late transition that makes his run on the pro circuit all the more notable, headlined by a maiden title at the Tenerife Open in August 2022, partnering José Antonio García Diestro, over Miguel Oliveira and Álex Chozas.

Since then he has partnered a rotating cast that includes Pablo Cardona, Gonzalo Rubio, Juan Cruz Belluati and Javi Barahona. His 2026 season brought FIP titles in Mallorca, Texas and Dublin, and in September he arrived at the FIP Silver in Nairobi as top seed alongside Mario Del Castillo.
