Federico Mouriño Proasi

Federico Mouriño Proasi is a professional padel player from Argentina, aged 27, standing 1.75 metres tall. Born on 5 October 1999 in Argentina, he plays on the drive side and is currently ranked 60. He partners Marc Quilez Palleja.

Federico Mouriño was born in San Martín de los Andes, Argentina, and moved with his family to Mar del Plata at age seven. His mother played padel, and watching her sparked the interest that pulled Mouriño and his brother away from football, within a year the siblings had climbed from the lowest amateur categories into the third division. At 17, in 2018, he moved to Spain with his older brother to teach padel at a club while competing in World Padel Tour qualifiers on the side; when his brother was injured, another player's invitation to partner up let him leave teaching behind and go fully professional.

Mouriño has since built a career inside the world's top 60, partnering players including Antonio Fernández and, more recently, Alami Mohamed, a pairing beaten by the rising Curro Cabeza-Mariano González team in the Marrakech FIP Bronze semifinals in April 2026.
