Maximiliano Sanchez Agüero

Maximiliano Sanchez Agüero is a professional padel player from Argentina, aged 39, standing 1.83 metres tall. Born on 15 December 1986 in Argentina, he plays on the backhand side and is currently ranked 72. He partners Luciano Capra.

Maxi Sánchez, known as "El Tiburón" for his courage on court, was born in Villa Mercedes, Argentina, started playing padel at eight and turned professional in 2006. His breakthrough came in 2013–2014 with Sanyo Gutiérrez, winning the Master Final in Madrid and the Buenos Aires Open. They reunited in 2018 to win the Catalunya Master, Zaragoza, Jaén, Mijas and the Máster de Portugal, taking the world No. 1 spot and the season title, and finished 2019 as world No. 2 after five more titles.

Sánchez has also won with Juan Martín Díaz (Master Final, 2015) and Matías Díaz (Mendoza Open, 2016), represented Argentina at the 2016 World Championship in Portugal, and won WPT Valladolid in 2021 alongside Luciano Capra, with whom he teamed up again in later seasons.
