Pol Hernández Álvarez plays alongside Guillermo Collado, a Catalan childhood friend he'd long talked about teaming up with before it finally happened in 2026. The partnership delivered an immediate breakout: FIP Silver titles in both Dubai and Espoo on the same weekend in March 2026, including a 6-1, 6-3 win over the world's eighth-ranked pair in Dubai.

That run pushed Hernández to a career-best world ranking of 31st, and the pair have said their goal is to break into the world's top 16 together.
