Gonzalo Gabriel Alfonso

Gonzalo Gabriel Alfonso is a professional padel player from Argentina, aged 30, standing 1.70 metres tall. Born on 30 March 1996 in Argentina, he plays on the backhand side and is currently ranked 30. He partners Valentino Gabriel Libaak.

Gonzalo Alfonso and countryman Leonel "Tolito" Aguirre reached world No. 1 together on the A1 Padel circuit, sweeping titles including the Asturias Open and the 2024 A1 Padel Master Final before that circuit's closure sent both toward new partnerships. The pairing's run through A1 Padel is among the more dominant stretches either player has had in their career.

Since then, Alfonso has partnered Valentino Gabriel Libaak, winning the FIP Silver Porto St. Elpidio title in August 2026 and reaching the semi-finals at Madrid P1 and the FIP Platinum in Marseille the same year, results that pushed him to a career-best ranking of 20th.
