Andres Fernandez Lancha

Andres Fernandez Lancha is a professional padel player from Spain, aged 21, standing 1.92 metres tall. Born on 2 March 2005 in Spain, he plays on the backhand side and is currently ranked 71. He partners Alvaro Cepero Rodriguez.

Andrés Fernández Lancha announced himself at the Madrid Premier Padel P1 in September 2024. He arrived ranked 224th, having never played a Premier Padel main draw, as a late replacement for veteran José García Diestro, whose usual partner Javi Ruiz was injured. The makeshift pair kept winning until they reached the quarterfinals, where they met world No. 1s Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello, and the run lifted Lancha 80 places in the rankings.

He has since turned that breakthrough into a steady run on the FIP circuit: the FIP Silver in Stratford in October 2025, a final in Napoli that November, a FIP Silver final in Cyprus in April 2026 and FIP Bronze titles in Isla de la Palma (April 2026) and Westerbork (August 2026).
